Raos Dressage International - China

RDI is a private dressage yard based in China, owned by the family of Deheive Aro, a 19 years old Chinese girl - me. My family is my strongest support while working hard to be a top dressage rider, after seeing my absolute commitment to dressage, they have trusted me and purchased a half built farm - later it became RDI.

We have total of 6 staff to look after 34 horses including competition horses, broodmares and a few ponies. Due to me being in UK a lot, the current main purpose of RDI is to breed some foal with dressage prospect, then sell them as either young competition horses or more matured schoolmaster. We have already sold one of our top mare to another rider who is in need of a well behaved schoolmaster to progress.

They are some very nice young horses just started competing and some is doing their first PSG within next few shows! So keep your eyes open hopefully they will show their faces at ES soon!

Hannah is our groom rider, she is the newest team member but has yet to become Sally's best friend!

Hannah Peng, a dedicated 20 yo girl who is working part-time here whilst doing her degree in the university of Hangzhou. Unfortunately there is no equine related degree in china so she had to follow her parents will --- business management. (I suppose it will be helpful for equestrian centers) However she is aiming to start competing at the end of this year, with one of our horses.

Dian Roo, 24 years old Chinese girl with a percentage of Thai blood running in her veins, her parents believe. That's why she has this not very chinese surname. She and James are our main riders at RDI, they do the job of educating young horses and keeping top horses at top condition. They are the reason I can go to UK without worries:=):

James Wang competing at Lake Placid Summer Classic with RDI Aubergine, our best competition stallion at the moment. That afternoon was just so unpredictable, sunny & hot one second, windy and rain next. They were lucky enough to compete in the sunshine. Hope the results will be good!

James W is 21 years old University student in gap year, he is a very good rider (far better than me) that have trained with one of the top riders in europe for years. When I am in China, he sometimes give me lessons on RDI horse and take me out competing. I competed with RDI Aubergine once in PSG, and I was extremely proud to place 3rd in a competitive class with real amazing riders. The reasons he came back to china are University, and establish connection to clients to make a living. I was lucky enough to meet him before anyone XD

Me and RDI Furst Totiral

Me? I believe you already know me haha. RDI Furst Totiral is one of the newer horse I bought from Netherlands. He is by Furst Heinrich, and have the sweetest nature for a stallion. I am learning Grand Prix movemnts on him. This photo was his first Advanced show with me, not long after he landed in UK, where I train.

Eleanor riding RDI princess in their second local show. How cute are they?! I always dreamed of riding a pony when I was young, but the time I started riding there were only Mongolian horses around, they are about 15-16hh and very basic.

Watching them is just as satisfying as riding one <3

More pony spam --- Today, when the sun shines, nobody could stay under the roof. So are Sophie, Eleanor and Kris, Soph and Ellie took their ponies out in the field to ride, Kris lunged Eleanor on Princess. Sophie rode Little T on her own. Both of them are getting stronger day by day, hope those ponies will stay good as they are!
